What happens during Laser Resurfacing

The treatment uses an Erbium:Yag Laser to create tiny thermal holes in the skin stimulating a healing process and a deep ‘peel like’ effect. It works on every layer of the skin down to the dermis to stimulate the skin cell turnover. It also reduces excess oil flow in the face, kickstarts new collagen and elastin formation, resurfaces the skin’s surface and rejuvenate the skin’s appearance.

The heat in the skin only lasts for about 60 mins post treatment depending on settings used. Clients are advised to go straight home after the treatment and remain cool and relaxed. We advise that you drink plenty of water for at least 72 hours post treatment to help aid in the healing process We also recommend a specific post laser serum and SPF to promote healing.
