WHAT HAPPENS DURING LASER HAIR REMOVAL? 

A patch test and consultation is required before all laser hair removal. Due to the advanced safe technology treatments can however be carried out 30-45 mins after patch tests.

During the treatment ultrasound gel is applied to the skin to allow for the laser to glide over the skin. The Soprano hand piece actual has an iced tip so the treatments feel cool to start with. As the hand piece glides over the skin warmth is slowly felt as the area is treated.

Depending on skin and hair type, results are typically seen after the first treatment. After each treatment, the hair is still present as it’s the follicle that has been destroyed not the hair shaft. The hairs will then naturally fall out over the next couple of weeks as the hair is pushed out of the hair shaft. We would usually expect up to 80% clearance within 8 sessions and recommend top up treatments when required.
